Are implants covered by insurance?

How long do dental implants last?

With regular brushing and flossing, the implant screw itself can last a lifetime, assuming the patient receives regular dental check-ups every 6 months. The crown usually lasts about 10 to 15 years before it may need to be replaced due to wear and tear.

Is dental implant surgery painful?

It is not possible to take existing dentures and turn them into implants. However, new implant-retained dentures can be made.

Yes, it’s still important to regularly visit your dentist for exams and cleanings. Maintaining good oral hygiene will ensure that you get the most out of your new dental implants!
